We enjoyed a day in the mountains of North Carolina on Saturday November 1. The Great Smokies were showing their colors so beautifully. Little did we know they have Elk there.
We stopped at a restaurant in Maggie Valley to eat lunch and read about the Elk that had been released there. You can get wonderful photos of the elk, just not too close. To see more check out the Great Smokies Web site
