ELK

We enjoyed a day in the mountains of North Carolina on Saturday November 1. The Great Smokies were showing their colors so beautifully. Little did we know they have Elk there.

We stopped at a restaurant in Maggie Valley to eat lunch and read about the Elk that had been released there. You can get wonderful photos of the elk, just not too close. To see more check out the Great Smokies Web site

What a week

Man what a week it has been. First on Sunday my Niece had her first child, a little girl she named Charli. My friend and wonderful designer ScrapKitty made this beautiful kit Charli Girl for us.

Then on Thursday my Nephew ( yes brother and sister here) and his wife had their first child together a son named Seth. I used ScrapKitty's kit Almost Spring for his layout. I only wish they where not in so far away so we could spoil Seth too.

Snow or No Snow that is the Question

I live in the Upstate of South Carolina and they are calling for snow and ice mix on Thursday. Well as soon as that is said around here you will not be able to buy Milk and Bread if you don't go before tonight. I think it is so funny how around here if there is snow or freezing rain you don't go any where. Or if you do and slide off the road just sit there for a short time and the good ole boys will be there with their 4x4 to pull you out! Well I will let you know if we get
