What a week

Man what a week it has been. First on Sunday my Niece had her first child, a little girl she named Charli. My friend and wonderful designer ScrapKitty made this beautiful kit Charli Girl for us.

Then on Thursday my Nephew ( yes brother and sister here) and his wife had their first child together a son named Seth. I used ScrapKitty's kit Almost Spring for his layout. I only wish they where not in so far away so we could spoil Seth too.

Snow or No Snow that is the Question

Well The upstate of South Carolina is holding their breath waiting to see what we get tonight. Snow or no snow that is the question on everyones mind. If anything I think I will only get rain.

I live in the Upstate of South Carolina and they are calling for snow and ice mix on Thursday. Well as soon as that is said around here you will not be able to buy Milk and Bread if you don't go before tonight. I think it is so funny how around here if there is snow or freezing rain you don't go any where. Or if you do and slide off the road just sit there for a short time and the good ole boys will be there with their 4x4 to pull you out! Well I will let you know if we get

Monday Morning here and I had a wonderful weekend. Hope everyone has had one too. Today I have posted two layouts I did this weekend with my pick of the week kit. It is A Formal Affair by Danielle Fenning. This is a photo of my Great-Grandparents and their Family Bible with thier marriage. This is my Grandfathers dad and step mom. I love the Black and white of this kit. I recolored the flowers to match better and the Bible pages. Thanks for looking.

Long time posting

I know it's been a long time since I posted but my life as been full. My Grandmother had her knee replaced so I took care of her then the Holidays and Vacation. I have also had a few small health problems but now I am better for the most part. Unless someone has a new nose I could have. LOL. This layout was not an easy one but I loved this paper so I cut and copied until I had what I wanted. I love how it looks like it is behind the flowers even though the flowers are on the paper. The jounalling is from the son "Wind beneath my wings"
